| One of my son's schoolmates brought this book round one day as he was reading it for his A level literature. I happened to have a quick look.... I didn't get out of the chair for the rest of the day! It totally gripped me. It's like an upmarket whodunnit, very well written and atmospheric. |
This is a short children's book that I read to all three of my children when they were young. It's written in rhyme and is just a wonderful story about a monster who is afraid of humans. The illustrations are great too. Sadly, our copy fell to bits because we read it so often! |
